ReviewAdviser is free to use. To keep it that way, we earn money from some of the companies listed on the site. This page explains how, and the rules we follow so that it never affects the reviews you read.
How we make money
Some companies on ReviewAdviser are our partners. When you click a Partner link (for example the "Website" button on a company page) and then buy something or sign up, the company or an affiliate network may pay us a commission. You do not pay anything extra.
Partner links are always labelled "Partner link" next to the button. Links to companies that are not partners are ordinary links.
What partners cannot do
Being a partner does not buy a company any special treatment. Partners, like every other company:
- cannot remove, hide or change reviews, or pay us to do so
- cannot influence their scores, which are calculated only from published reviews
- cannot see or choose reviews before they are published
- cannot decide whether a negative review is published
We treat reviews of partners and non-partners under the same moderation and verification policy.
Which companies we list
We list companies whether or not they are partners. A company with no partner relationship gets the same page, the same scores and the same review feed as one that pays us a commission.
Featured and recommended companies
Where we highlight companies on the home page or in a category, for example as "Featured", we label it clearly. If a placement is influenced by a commercial relationship, we say so next to it.
