We needed the money to get the roof repaired after a storm and the insurance only covered part of it. I've been a customer of theirs for years through various things so I knew what to expect. Application was simple, the money came through the next day and I've never had a problem with repayments.

I'd never borrowed money before so this was my first loan, used it to buy a second hand car. They explained the APR and the total repayable clearly on the summary page which I appreciated. Money arrived in the bank the next working day. Easy enough as a first timer.

Compared with the personal loan my bank quoted me, this was a bit cheaper on the monthly figure and the application was far quicker than going into a branch. The only small thing is the app logs you out quite often so you end up re-entering your details. Otherwise sorted.

I was grateful for the personal loan that helped me pay for my late husband's funeral costs, and I'd like to say so. The forms were straightforward and a member of staff rang me back to check I understood the terms, which I found considerate. The money arrived promptly and the repayments have been manageable ever since.
