Switched over from another app and the matches are better, mostly because you can filter by what people are actually looking for. Cancelling the old subscription was a faff, though, I had to go through three screens. Otherwise happy enough with it.

Paid for three months and it was fair enough for what it cost, which is less than a pub night out. I went to a couple of events and they were decently organised. Nothing to add beyond that.

Compared with the big dating apps I was paying for, this works out a fair bit less a month for roughly the same number of decent matches. The events side is where it's better, the meet-ups are cheap and the people actually turn up. Only thing I'd flag is the match filters are a bit basic.

Honestly it's a good place to meet people locally, especially if you're not into swiping all day. Booking an event was easy, though the confirmation email took a day to arrive. The support team replied to my question about a refund in around two days, which felt a bit slow but they did sort it.

Paid for the profile boost on a Sunday night and got more matches in the next couple of days than I'd had all month. Nothing fiddly about it, just tap and it's done. Would do it again when things go quiet.

I needed somewhere to meet people after moving to a smaller town and the site was the obvious choice. Lots of profiles in the city but very few in my area, so I had to travel for most events. The events themselves were well run, though they'd sold out quickly and I missed two.

The first thing I noticed was the short video guide for setting up the profile, it's the reason my photos look decent now. Cost me nothing extra and took about twenty minutes to follow. Good value for what it is.

Needed a date for a wedding in three weeks and nothing else was turning up anyone useful. Signing up took ages because the email code went to my spam and I had to ask for it twice. Once I was in it was alright, got a plus one sorted.

Booked the Thursday speed dating night from the app on the bus. Simple enough to pick a time and pay. The room was packed and the bloke running it kept things moving. Good fun.
