ASDA Car Insurance

Needed insurance quickly because I'd just passed my test and had a second hand Corsa booked in for collection that weekend. Got a quote online without much bother, though it asked for my driving history twice. Policy was sorted in about twenty minutes and I could print the certificate off straight away.

I checked three other sites first and this came out about forty quid cheaper than the nearest one for the same level of cover. The quote form asked fewer silly questions than the others too. Policy documents arrived the same afternoon and I was insured before bed.

I had a policy with another insurer last year and this one came out a little dearer for what seemed to be the same cover. I was also disappointed that I had to call twice to get my no claims discount applied properly. The person on the phone was pleasant enough but the whole thing took over a week to sort out, which I did not expect. I would consider looking elsewhere at renewal.

Bought the van policy for the little Transit we use for the allotment and garden stuff. Took a while to get the business use bit right but once it was on it stayed sorted. Renewal reminder came a few weeks early, which I appreciated, and the documents are easy to find in my account.

Been with them for about eleven years now and the renewal has never been a nightmare. Price creeps up a bit each year but the cover has always paid out when I needed it, and the phone line picks up quickly. Would not switch.

Honestly the renewal process is fine and quick to get through on the app. Premium went up more than I expected this year though, nearly a fifth on the same car. I've stuck with them because the cover is solid and I don't fancy rechecking everything elsewhere.

The price was the best bit, way cheaper than what I was quoted elsewhere. Documents took ages to show up though, like two days, and I had to chase them through the chat. Fine in the end lol.
