Baldape Parlour

I needed a replacement for my reading glasses after I lost the pair I'd had for years. I found the order process straightforward enough, though I did have to ring them once when a field on the form wouldn't accept my postcode. The glasses themselves are perfectly good and the frames sit comfortably. Delivery took rather longer than the site suggested, nearly two weeks, which I found a little frustrating.

I've been buying cutting kit for years so I know what to look for. The spec details on each listing are proper useful, down to the blade material and the guard sizes. Everything came packed well and the order was spot on, which is more than I can say for some places.

Compared to the big high street chain I usually use, this was a far better deal for the same sort of skincare set. The bottles felt sturdier and the packaging was tidy when it arrived. I used the moisturiser for about three weeks now and my skin feels noticeably calmer. Would happily order again.

I'd only ever used the big marketplace before, so this was my first time here. The product pages were clearer than what I was used to and the prices were a bit lower. The delivery took three days which was fine, though the tracking link didn't work until the next morning.

I bought a set of bath towels for my daughter's new flat, as she mentioned hers were quite worn. They arrived well folded and the colour is just as shown on the website. The weight is very pleasant and they have been through the wash twice now without any shrinking. I was grateful for the careful packing, which I thought was thoughtful of them.

Ordered a replacement filter for my water jug and it turned up in two days. Fits my jug perfectly and the instructions were clear. Checkout was simple, no fuss at all. Price was fair for a genuine filter and I'll keep ordering from here.

Ordered a set of clipper guards and a bottle of cutting oil to go with my Wahl clippers, which I've had for years. The guards fit my clippers exactly and the oil is the good stuff, not the cheap rubbish. Took a couple of days to come, which is fine. Only small thing is the guard sizes are a bit hard to tell apart on the photos.

Needed a new phone case fast after dropping mine on the platform. Ordered on the app at lunch and it was on my doorstep the next morning. Fits my phone perfectly and the grip is good. Would order again.

Good value for the money, the price was the best I could find for the same thing elsewhere and it arrived quick enough. The checkout asked me to make an account first which was a bit of a faff but it only took a couple of minutes. Would order from them again for the basics.

I compared three sites before picking this one, and it was the cheapest by a fair bit. The order took about a week to come through though, and I had to chase them once by email before they replied.
